Get in Early for the 2012 Weight Loss Challenge


Now we only have three more days by my calculation until the new year 2012 begins. Many of us have enjoyed lovely Christmas dinners cooked by mothers, aunts, uncles and loved ones, and boy does everyone make and effort for the special holidays.

I for one am still stuffed from Christmas Day dinner alone and its two days after the event! I tried to get to the gym on Boxing Day, but it was closed.. :(

So do you know what I did? I went to the shops and bought a second wii controller and took this home, with the intention that me and my wonderful partner Glenn would get on that wii and play a few games of tennis and maybe a round of boxing!

So what if I didn't make it to the gym, there are other ways to enjoy yourself and lose a few calories at the same time. Go find what it is that suits your thing.... Let's face it the gym is not for everyone.

Getting in shape takes time, it won't happen overnight. There are no miracles for losing weight quickly and still looking good. Lose weight in a controlled manner, which will be slow, but you know what it will stay off longer and you won't find yourself swinging up and down those scales like a yo-yo.

Start now by reducing the portion sizes, taking walks in between and playing fun games with the kids and family!
