A Sense of Achievement

Taking part in the London Triathalon in 2007 was one of the pinnacles of my life. It was a fantastic achievement to have completed this marvellous event.

Here I am with my three team members, Jenny adn Emma. We were part of a team called the Herbalupers. Jenny came on board with less that 8 weeks to go, she had previously just recovered from Pleurasy apologies if I have spelt that incorrectly, and she agreed to be our swimmer! what a brave girl. She completed the 1500m swim with ease....
Emma volunteered to be the 5k runner, and what a fantastic run that was.
Me, well I ended up doing the 20k bike ride..... nearly killed me! But was such a good laugh and it was lovely that everyone cheered each other on.

For me, this was a life time achievement. I had reached my forties, and hadn't competed in any competitions for the last 6 years. I used to play in a Netball league but got injured. My ligament in my knee gave out, so jogging and jumping were a no no for me. Prior to my knee injury I loved sports, and was always playing either badminton, Netball, Football or going to the gym. The thought of having to get back into training to compete in this Triathalon was a no brainer really, I wanted to improve my fitness but also to prove that I CAN DO THIS if i put my mind to it!

It took a lot of discipline, effort and focus to prepare ourselves for this event. Even your diet had to be focussed and you had to be disciplined enough to ensure you ate the right mix of food groups.

Preparing yourself physically and mentally was a challenge. But like all challenges we face, you deal with them one at a time. I had tolog a daily schedule of what I was going to physically achieve for that day and STICK to it! When I was out there preparing for my cycle race, I would listen to my ipod which i had loaded up a bunch of motivational audio books, as well as some really great inspirational music to keep me going the distance. This made the time go quickly and enjoyably...

I raised nearly £2,000 for charity by taking part in this event alone, so it made it all worthwhile for me, and do you know, I went on to compete again in the following year's Triathalon, in fact we all did, but in different teams..... It was fantastic!

This is one less achievement I can tick off on my list of things I have done before I leave this wonderful earth....

What have you done, that made you feel a great sense of achievement in your life? Go ahead and leave a comment for me....

Herbalife International is it a Scam or is it Legal

So Is the Herbalife Home Business Opportunity a scam or is it perfectly legal. Let’s take a look. Herbalife International was founded in 1980, by Mark Hughes. As a youngster Mark witness his mother try all sorts of Diet programmes and products to help lose weight, in the end she died trying to find the ideal weight loss programme. It was this cause close to his heart that made Mark go on a mission to find a natural safe method for people to losing weight.

Products

Quality controls behind Herbalife products are always in place.
Their raw materials including botanical ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers around the world and are manufactured in accordance with established quality standards. Herbalife suppliers and manufacturers are obligated to follow Herbalife’s written procedures that are verified by periodic audits and inspections. Two clinical studies using Formula 1 have been conducted at leading universities bringing creditability to these products.

In the U.S., all of their products comply with and are labelled according to FDA regulations. Outside of the U.S., Herbalife comply with and are regulated by the various ministries of health and food standards agencies of the 65 additional countries where they currently do business. Their Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is made up of leading experts whose work furthers the field of nutritional science among them Dr Louis Ignarro, Nobel Prize Laureate.

Compensation Plan
Herbalife's compensation plan is also one of a relatively few comp plans, called breakaways, that are utilized mainly by older companies, such as Amway, Nuskin, NSA, Shaklee, and others.
When you become an Herbalife distributor, you are a basic "Distributor" and can earn your way towards 50k President level. It may take many years to get to that level. It is relatively simple to become a "Supervisor" level distributor, You can buy your way in as a Supervisor if you have the disposable funds. You gain levels by selling products and gaining volume points. Volume points for most products are equal to the manufacturers recommended selling price of the product and are based upon the US dollar value of the products.

Conclusion:
After researching Herbalife International, I found the company to be a genuine proven business opportunity that empowers people to achieve their dreams, financial freedom and the rewards of helping others. The products are true to their word and have proven to be first class products which provide weight loss and weight management results. With over 1million distributors worldwide and trading in over 65 countries globally I made a decision to join Herbalife as a Distributor.

How I Found Herbalife

December 2003, after the Christmas festivities had finished, the reality of what lay ahead for me started to sink in. Alone, with two boys then aged 11 and 5 and no form of income coming in. Living in a three bedroom house with a substantial mortgage to pay and a pitance of alimony money from the boys father to pay towards their wellbeing.

I began to look online, to see if there was anything I could do to help me work from home to be with my kids. I must have seen a hundred or so 'online opportunities' to make quick money, lots of money from home. Most of these I quickly saw through as scams, but there were some where I thought mmmmmm, I wonder!

Well I gave up on searching online as there were too many sites to view. However I received a leaflet through my door about wanting to work from home. It had a website address so I logged on to find out more. When I initially came across this one ad online, it struck a chord with me, and I had a deep down feeling about this one particular ad. I read through the site, thoroughly. I then entered my details, not expecting anything to come from it, so blow me, I was shocked when I received a phone call that very day. We talked over the phone and got on really well. Even more suprisingly he lived not too far from where I lived, which was reassuring at the time. The rest is history....
