***GUEST POST *** 4 Fitness Friendly Dates Every Couple Should Try

We all know the "standard" date protocol, right?

Dinner? A movie?

Well, what if that's not you, or  you want to change the normal
routine.

What then?

A great way to bond with your partner is through
fitness. So, skip that fancy restaurant that will wreck havoc on your card, and look instead for a something a little different, a fitness date.

1. Nature Walk and Picnic

For your nature walk date, you don't need to far out into the woods.

Instead, you can check out a local park, or nature reserve. On your
walk, you can take in the local foliage and animals.

If you can, try to find a park that you may not frequent.
This will make the date more exciting as you will be "exploring."

This will also give you a chance to talk, and spend time
together one-on-one without the distractions
that a restaurant or movie theatre can bring.

At the end of the walk, spread out a blanket and enjoy a lunch together.
You may even want to consider preparing the lunch together
before you go, or bringing something each to contribute.

2. Ropes Course

Ever see those ropes courses that go high up into the trees?
They may seem terrifying or dangerous from the ground.
However, that couldn't be further from the truth.

The courses are designed with safety in mind.

This is a great opportunity for couples who may be excitement
seekers. Courses like these are often set up in such a way that each
stage presents their own challenge, from a wobbly bridge suspended
twenty feet in the  area, or a single tight rope.

This is a great way to challenge yourselves, and it will also
be something wonderful to talk about afterwards.

3. Wii Fit/Sports tournament

Not a fan of the outdoors? Is it raining or snowing out?
How about a Wii Fit date?

Engage in fun outdoor activities or yoga all while in
the comfort of your home?

Despite being a "video game," these can be great workouts!
Challenge each other in the bowling arena, sand
volleyball, or relax with a soothing yoga session without having to
pay the fees!

You can go at your own pace, so this is especially nice
for couples who are just starting to work out.

4. City tour on a bike

Have you lived in a City for a while, and never really explored it?

Well, why not start now?

Pull out your bike, or rent one if you don't
have your own, and make a Saturday exploration of it.

Perhaps you are interested in seeing a new exhibit at a favorite museum,
or  want to check out a new ice cream shop.

Why not get there on a bike?

Not only are you two working out, but you are also checking out something
new together.

As a couple, sharing new experiences is incredibly important!

There are so many ways to bond together while working out!

These are just a few starter ideas. Once you two get going, you will find many
more avenues that you enjoy and want to explore.

For now, why wait to get started?

Go try out some of these right now!
